Bismill\u0101hi r-Ra\u1e25m\u0101ni r-Ra\u1e25\u012bm
In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
O Allah, send blessings upon our master Muhammad,
the Opener of what was closed,
the Seal of what came before,
the Helper of the Truth by the Truth,
and the Guide to Your straight path.
And upon his family,
according to his immense worth and the greatness of his rank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
\n<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
Verse on following the Prophet \ufdfa<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\u201cSay: If you truly love Allah, then follow me;
Allah will love you and forgive your sins.
For Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.<\/strong>\u201d

\u201cWhoever claims to love Allah without following the Messenger of Allah
(\u1e63allAll\u0101hu \u02bfalayhi wa sallam) has not tasted the reality of love.
The love of Allah is a gift that is granted only to one who follows the Prophet
in words, in actions, in inner state, and in orientation.<\/mark>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\nAnd he said \u2014 may Allah sanctify his precious secret:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThere is no love except the love of Allah and of His Messenger.<\/mark>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Listen carefully to what I am about to recount to you, by the Grace of Allah.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the time of the Prophet, our master M\u016bs\u0101 (peace be upon him), there lived a poor family composed of a husband and a wife. Poverty had worn them down for many long years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While they were lying in their bed, the wife said to her husband:
\u201cO my husband, is not M\u016bs\u0101 a Prophet of Allah, and the one to whom Allah spoke?\u201d
He replied, \u201cYes, indeed.\u201d
She then said:
\u201cWhy not go to him and ask him to speak to Allah about our situation, and to ask Him to enrich us by His Grace so that we may live?\u201d
The man replied:
\u201cYes, you have spoken the truth, my wife.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\nWhen morning came, they went to the Prophet of Allah, peace be upon him, and explained their situation. M\u016bs\u0101 (peace be upon him) went to meet his Lord and spoke to Him about their condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Allah said to M\u016bs\u0101 (peace be upon him):
\u201cO M\u016bs\u0101, tell them that I shall enrich them by My Grace, but only for one year.
When the year has ended, they will return to what they were before: poverty.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\nM\u016bs\u0101 returned and informed them that Allah had answered their supplication and would enrich them\u2014but only for one year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The couple rejoiced.
Provision began to come to them from every direction, through doors they had never expected.
They became among the wealthy of their people.<\/p>\n\n\n\nThe wife said:
\u201cO my husband, remember: we shall enjoy ease for one year, and when this period ends, we shall return to our poverty.
So let us use this wealth to do good to people. In this way, when the year has passed and we return to poverty, people will remember the good we did for them; they will give to us, and they will not turn us away if we ask them for food.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\nThe husband replied:
\u201cYou are right, O woman.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\nThey then built a large house at a crossroads used by travelers.
On each side of the house, they made a door opening onto a road.
They began to welcome all who came and went, preparing food for them day and night.
Days and months passed, and they continued their good works.<\/p>\n\n\n\nM\u016bs\u0101 (peace be upon him) observed their condition day after day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The year ended. A new year began, yet they remained as they were\u2014they had not returned to poverty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Prophet M\u016bs\u0101 (peace be upon him) was astonished and spoke to his Lord, saying:
\u201cMy Lord, You had fixed for them only one year, and now they have entered a new year and have not become poor again.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\nAllah replied:
\u201cO M\u016bs\u0101, I opened for them one door of My provision, and they opened seven doors through which they provide sustenance to My servants.
O M\u016bs\u0101, is it possible that My servant could be more generous than Me?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\nGlory be to You, O You who are the Most Generous of all the generous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
