O Allah, send blessings upon our master Muhammad,
the Opener of what was closed,
the Seal of what came before,
the Helper of the Truth by the Truth,
and the Guide to Your straight path.
And upon his family,
according to his immense worth and the greatness of his rank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE FULL ACCOUNT (ASB\u0100B AN-NUZ\u016aL)<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n
1. The slander against \u02bf\u0100\u02beisha (may Allah be pleased with her)<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n

During the incident of al-Ifk<\/em>, some believers unintentionally repeated the rumor fabricated by the hypocrites.
Among them was Mistah ibn Uth\u0101thah<\/strong>, a close relative of Ab\u016b Bakr<\/strong> (may Allah be pleased with him), and one of the poor people whom he used to support financially.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When Ab\u016b Bakr learned that Mistah had spread the rumor, he was deeply hurt and declared: \u201cBy Allah, I will never again spend anything on Mistah.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the Prophet (\u1e63allAll\u0101hu \u02bfalayhi wa sallam) recited the verse, Ab\u016b Bakr was shaken, wept, and replied: \u201cYes, by Allah! Indeed we love that Allah should forgive us.\u201d<\/em> He then added: \u201cI restore the allowance I used to give him.\u201d<\/em> And he concluded: \u201cBy Allah, I will never cut off my support from him again.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Statements of the exegetes<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n

According to Ibn Kath\u012br<\/strong>: \u201cAb\u016b Bakr resumed giving charity to Mistah and even increased it.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Al-Qur\u1e6dub\u012b<\/strong>: \u201cThe truthful ones forgive in order to obtain Allah\u2019s forgiveness.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to At-\u1e6cabar\u012b<\/strong>: \u201cHe immediately and completely complied with the divine command.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
