Bismill\u0101hi r-Ra\u1e25m\u0101ni r-Ra\u1e25\u012bm<\/strong>
In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

O Allah, send blessings upon our master Muhammad,
the Opener of what was closed,
the Seal of what came before,
the Helper of the Truth by the Truth,
and the Guide to Your straight path.
And upon his family,
according to his immense worth and the greatness of his rank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A saying of our master Shaykh A\u1e25mad Tij\u0101n\u012b
(may Allah sanctify his precious secret)<\/em>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

\u201cEvery opening, every light, and every spiritual elevation
are attained only through sincere following <\/em>of the Beloved \ufdfa.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

According to Mu\u02bf\u0101wiya ibn Ab\u012b Sufy\u0101n (may Allah be pleased with him)<\/em>,
the Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa came out to his Companions while they were sitting in a circle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said to them:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhy are you sitting here?<\/mark><\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They replied with sincerity:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe have sat to remember Allah, to praise Him for having guided us to Islam, and for the blessings He has bestowed upon us through this religion.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Prophet \ufdfa then said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDo you swear by Allah that this alone is what made you sit?<\/mark><\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They replied:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBy Allah, we sat only for that.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He then said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI did not ask you to swear because I doubted you,
but because Jibr\u012bl came to me and informed me
that Allah boasts of you to the angels.<\/mark><\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This gathering was neither an assembly of speeches,
nor a place of ostentation,
nor a meeting of outward knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a simple gathering of hearts,
seated to remember Allah,
to acknowledge His favor,
and to praise His guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And yet,
Allah, Exalted is He,
boasts of them to the angels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They asked for nothing,
they claimed nothing,
they merely acknowledged.
And Allah honored them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O you who sit to remember Him,
know that when your heart turns toward Him,
the heavens open,
the angels mention you,
and Allah speaks of you in the highest assembly,
among the angels brought near.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O Allah, send blessings upon our master Muhammad,
the Opener of what was closed,
the Seal of what came before,
the Helper of the Truth by the Truth,
and the Guide to Your straight path.
And upon his family,
according to his immense worth and the greatness of his rank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
